Charter Bluebell for friends and family (suspended until we take delivery of our new narrowboat)
Do you have a special occasion to celebrate or are you looking for a fun, new way to spend time with friends and family?
Why not charter our narrowboat Bluebell for a private party of up to 12 people?
Prices start from £90 for a 2-hour cruise.
We supply driver and crew, tea, coffee and biscuits. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Cruises start from Port Buchan in Broxburn. In 2 hours you can travel to the Lin’s Mill Aqueduct and back or, in the opposite
direction, to Winchburgh and back.
Recent private hires have been for a themed pirate party, children’s birthday parties and by local scout and walking groups. We have also worked with the council's Education Service to provide trips for local schools.

The Bridge 19-40 Union Canal Society is a registered charity (SC023110) run solely by volunteers and supported by donations and income from events and boat trips.
Our boat, Bluebell, was sold sometime ago and this kicked of our fundraising campaign. We have now raised suffiicent funds to enable us to purchase a sailaway narrowboat and this is currently being built down in England. However we will still need to raise funds to fit her out.
